During the Cold War the late Ivan Stankovich*(head of the then Yugoslavian Space Program) was on an expedition looking for new launch sites on the forbidden Kamchatca Peninsula (former Soviet Union). During a preliminary excavation something was found locked in the frozen earth.
You are looking at IT!
Ivan, not wanting to turn it over to Military authorities kept it hidden. It remained in his personal possession for many years…forgotten and unseen. Till now.

True Wonders Museum was a 5,000 sq ft. facility located on Lake Tahoe's south shore. It's functon was to entertain, mystify and educate. Before, during and after it's short existence a small Field Unit (Mystery World Shows) continued to offer entertainment and amazing mysteries to Flea Market and small Fair goers. In the tradition of the countless travelling museums of yesteryear, it was a fun interlude for folks out shopping for an old wooden spoon or a hub cap. The idea was begun in 1971 by Doug Higley in Anchorage, Alaska and now, in 2008 the legasy continues with the new IceAge tour for 08/09. The theme is Prehistoric and in the case of the headline exhibit It Is NOT Just A Fossil! Of all the shows in all the years THIS is the most astounding exhibit of all! WHAT IS IT? It's a Mystery!
We are a Clean, Family Friendly Self Contained unit that has NEVER, NOT ONCE, recieved a single negative comment from one of our guests. That is an unmatched record we are extremely proud of! The purpose is to create a moment of mystery and curiosity and maybe inject a sense of wonder in the viewer...Intrigueing Questions are asked and the Guest provides their own answers (or not) and finds that somewhere between fact and fiction is an entertaining mystery spot that's fun to visit. Along the way, they just might discover a lost ability for Critical Thinking...
For the Managers: We set up in a 10x10 space, utilizing a professional grade EZ-Up in sparkling new condition. (always). We set up early and leave late. Our simple black on white signs invite the passerby to experience a Mystery for themselves for a Dollar. Our 'tent' is WIDE open, nothing enclosed so there is never a concern for safety. All ages are welcome and they love what we do! Parents tell us the kids talk about it for weeks! Our shows are always Family Friendly and we get a large amount of compliments from women who also enjoying engaging their curiosity. We have consulted to and taught showmen/women how to do this Flea Market show for more than 20 years. For the lot managers, YOUR rules are our rules. Simple as that. We NEVER get beefs or copmplaints. We have always been an asset to whatever market we show at and the folks consider us Entertainment...which we are!
We do NOT use amplified audio or loud speakers. We do not sell a product but do charge a simple admission of One Dollar each. 4 and Under free. We do not necessarily require Electricity but do require that we can drive up to the space to unload and load up. (Unless Indoors of course.)
