7am...The First Stake is
driven as...
The rest of the many trucks arrive and pull into their pre-designated spaces for the 10 Day run. This show is used to doing all this work for ONE NIGHTERS!

HARD WORKING crew.
The stakes (TONS!) for the Big Top are all pounded into the sandy soil by a Mechanical Stake Driver. Imagine if the guys had to drive all these stakes! (They used to!)
Meanwhile the important American Flag topped King Poles (4) are readied to go up and in no time up they go!
While the Big Top goes up, look who comes out for a day of leisure and HAY. In the old days it was the Elephants that did the heavy lifting and pulling to get the huge show tent in the air.
